The HVA x DLT Rising Leaders Program solves this problems by providing best-in-class, high-priority professional development training for high school upperclassmen to teach them all of the skills and provide them with all of the resources they need to hit the ground running on campus. With a focus on networking, job materials, and exposure to high-demand industries, the RLP will empower HVA students’ blossoming minds to dream bigger and clearer before stepping into the most formative years of young adulthood. Outside of traditional lectures, the RLP also includes applied skill workshops, guest lectures, one-on-one mentorship, and job shadow opportunities to provide a truly holistic foundation for students’ first exposure to formal professional development and the corporate world. In addition, feedback gathered after each monthly session and at other key points of the program will help inform additional needs and interests of HVA’s student body. Finally, all RLP participants will receive immediate access to their respective DLT college chapter, should they attend a partner university
